How the office approaches care for children
Children are not small adults. Their bodies are still growing, so any evaluation and any hands-on care is adapted to age and size, and is generally much gentler than adult care.
A parent or guardian is involved in every decision, and you are always welcome to ask why something is or is not being recommended.
Common reasons families call
- Aches after sports, play or a fall
- Posture questions, such as heavy backpack use
- Questions about whether chiropractic is appropriate at all
Your pediatrician stays in the loop
Chiropractic care is not a substitute for your child's pediatrician. The office may suggest checking with your pediatrician first when symptoms call for it.
